I don’t know how many other people know about him, but as a kid, I LOVED Ed Emberley. I would sit in my bed before going to sleep and with the help of Ed’s books, I would draw the most random crap ever. Ed’s books show you step by step how to make all sorts of things like trains, elephants, people, all in the simplest of steps. The book above was BY FAR my favorite of the 38492 books I had by him.
Update: So after looking at the publishing dates of many of his books I realized that the only reason I had them was because my grandmother (Meema) was a huge hippy and I adored her immensely. Majority of the books were published in the 70’s, while this one seems to be a more modern one (or a updated version).

I’ve been loving my dreams of late, and remembering them, which for me, is not an easy feat. My latest consists of a Fight Club-esque story line, but instead of making soap, my accomplice and I made meth, and instead of fighting we hosted intense guitar hero tourneys. Pretty bad ass.

My roommate is MIA for the next week. Actually she’s taking a trip up to Seattle to go see Kanye. If it’s not sunny outside, (which it is supposed to be, but you never know….) I plan on watching movies of my past including, but not limited to:
- Harriet the Spy
- Marry Poppins
- Shiloh (that dog movie)
- Andre (that seal movie)
- Beethoven (that other dog movie)
and last but not least
- all the Disney Classics.
It’s gunna be a great week.
